Jeff Sloan has been an owner and enthusiast of Arabian horses since 1982 when he purchased his first Arabian. He is the founder and principal of Aria International, a leading Arabian horse marketing and management firm (www.ariaarabians.com). Aria is known for acquiring, promoting, breeding, showing, and marketing some of the finest Arabian horses in the world, including the likes of *Pianissima, *Emandoria, *Elandra, Aria Impresario, LD Pistal, and many others. Jeff has also maintained a successful amateur handler show career including winning the Scottsdale Yearling Signature Colt Class in 2006.

In addition to his activities at Aria international, Jeff is co-founder of StartupNation, an online site dedicated to informing and inspiring entrepreneurs to start and grow their own businesses (www.startupnation.com). His radio experience dates back to the year 2000 when he hosted the “Digital Hour”, a program broadcast on the Midwest’s largest AM Talk radio station, WJR, and which focused on all things relating to high tech startup companies. Following the Digital Hour, Jeff and his brother Rich hosted and syndicated the talk radio show known as “StartupNation”, which aired in 85 markets across the country. In 2004, Jeff and his brother Rich became published authors of the book “StartupNation – Open for Business”, published by Doubleday. Prior to StartupNation, Jeff led Sloan Ventures, a business incubator which successfully developed, grew, and/or sold several high tech companies including Liquid Medium, LLC; Clarity, LLC; VetGen, LLC; Rubicon Genomics, LLC; and Aereous, LLC. His start in business came when he invented and was awarded a United States Patent on the “Battery BuddyR”, a device to prevent dead batteries on cars, which was successfully licensed to a Fortune 500 automotive supplier. Today Jeff is focused on his activities at Aria International and is the Founder and CEO of the Equine Broadcasting Network.
